It involves applying a mixture of small pebbles or stone fragments onto a wet mortar or render coat that has been previously applied to the exterior surface of a building. 4. Finishing: After the pebbles are applied and the mortar has had some time to set, the excess mortar is often brushed away, leaving the pebbles exposed. The final appearance can be customised by choosing different pebble types and mortar colours.
